Sources and Verification
Primary records, evidence boundaries, and sourcing verification policy across 120 documented metalcraft locations.
Primary Documentation Policy
The Buypeetal directory indexes documented metalcraft regions across 54 countries and regions. Every listing cites primary sources: government craft registries, UNESCO intangible heritage registers, gazetteer records, accredited museum collections, or verified foundry websites. Sourced listings document craft traditions and techniques; they do not verify individual commercial suppliers, real-time inventory, or wholesale pricing.

Verification Limits and Buyer Checks
Inclusion in this directory is not a commercial endorsement, supplier certification, or food-contact safety guarantee. Buyers must independently verify workshop identity, current alloy composition, wall thickness, and virgin tin lining with suppliers prior to procurement.
Corrections and Partner Submissions
We review citations and directory records quarterly. If you represent a documented metalcraft guild, foundry, or research institution and notice an outdated record or broken citation, please notify our research desk at [email protected].
How Drafts Work
Workshop and sourcing forms prepare text drafts client-side on your device. They do not submit a public listing, transmit personal information, or access remote databases. Copy and share a draft only with recipients you choose.
